	The R meant a lot of things. First, they were shipped to the US as race only bikes, meaning that they did not have lights, Blinkers, Mirrors, horn so on. To make one of these road legal you had to buy a lot of gear but when you did what an serious machine you end up with. These bikes have lighter frames (thinner walled tubes) Full Ohlins Suspension, Titanium con-rods and shower injection.
