A fresh start of my BMW issues
At a time in my life when I was in full blown dad mode, my first kiddo was on his way and I started thinking it would be fun to collect a car per kiddo. One of the cars I had always waned but never had was the BMW e34 M5. This car was a follow on to the e28 M5 which I had owned when dating my wife and later sold, more on that HERE. With the e28M5 BMW had taken an old car and installed a new motor, the S38 and thus started the super saloon era. With the e34, BMW took that same engine (for the most part) and built a new car around the engine.
For me, the e34 is a hell of a good looking car with potent power and handling. I needed one.
Falling in love is always the easy part
Here is the car as pictured in the craigslist add I found it on outside Atlanta. From 10,000 feet it was perfect, being romanic is never good when you want something...
