'''Ever wonder what your meant to be doing?''' Why you have a pulse? Where it is all heading? You can wonder but don't let it ruin your days, live today and not tomorrow or yesterday.

I do many things. I have a career path of a Network Engineer. I know more about computers then I care to admit. I race motorcycles, build motorcycles and cars so on. All I really like to do is ride my bicycle and not have a phone in my pocket. Think that will ever happen? Ya, neither do I but a guy can have a dream and wake up with his head in the toilet once a year right?

<span style="color:#f7b304">'''Welcome'''</span> to [https://db.ibenson.com db.ibenson.com] which is the home to the documentation of work I have done on bikes, cars and motorcycles and a whole lot more.  Much of this site was made in 2010-11 and I revived it in 2024 because I had so much information stored here, much was at risk of being forgotten. I really do have a job as a network engineer and for some reason I feel that it is burning a hole in my soul. Something inside me (Soul) tells my mind that I am not doing what I was put here to do but that is for a different page.  I work for an amazing company and life is better but it does not help the core fact that I should be doing something else.  Maybe I can find the balance between career and life. I think this is the way to go but I will let you know how it works out.

For most of my life I have jumped between bicycles, motorcycles and cars. When I started having kids, I walked away from motorcycles and dove deep into cars, adding a car for each of my kids to the collection.  When the kids were older, I tracked down a lot of my old bikes and started collecting again, building a few new projects.  Bringing this site back to life has allowed me to track the original build process of a few of my bikes and to track my new projects as best I can document.

In the meantime I work to hard, feel like shit constantly, run from friends and responsibility.

I have become a beleiver in that '''if something is meant to happen in your life it will'''. How long do you think one should sit around and wait for said change before
one gets off his/her lazy ass and makes changes happen?  I don't know what kind of changes, take a guess.  Job, Location, Habits, Traits, Friends, Food, Culture so on. Get the point skippy?

I know, I know, there are many things wrong with me. //db

Welcome to db.ibenson.com which is the home to the documentation of work I have done on bikes, cars and motorcycles and a whole lot more. Much of this site was made in 2010-11 and I revived it in 2024 because I had so much information stored here, much was at risk of being forgotten. When this site was first made, I owned a shop in Newport RI where I lived and worked. Much has happened in 15 years and I ask that old articles on this site be viewed as written by a crazy person with a lot of energy and drive to innovate and create. Fast forward to today, I am still much the same person but I am split among many competing priorities with my family winning no matter what.
