db.ibenson.com is a site that documents the projects, travel and efforts of Dan Benson. While I don't travel much these days, I have started building again. Building / making "things", anything is the most rewarding thing in the span of our race, I only wish more people understood this. Work with your hands as often as you can.
I have never been in the business of building cars, motorcycles or bicycles for profit. This is something I do with / for friends or for myself, these days more for myself. Money has its place but for me, it is not in building or making objects. This fills a part of my being in a way that is far beyond money and therefore I don't mix the two.
Bio: Dan was born in Newport RI into a long line of Newporters and is actively raising three boys with his wife, in wouldn't you know it, Newport RI. Dan has worked as a network / systems engineer for the bulk of his career and is currently employed with a global satellite communications company where he is the VP of Service engineering.
