One of the things I do is make insane cycles (at least I think they are insane, others may disagree). Usually these are based on different models of Ducati. Whether it be a frame from one era, a tank from another, wheels from now and an engine from the future, I try to bring it all home in a clean, simple setup. Additionally I have rebuilt a few machines as well, making them lighter, faster, more agile and mo-betta looking. Below you will find a few of my past builds. They really never end, so even what you see here might be out of date from the bike's current state.
Personal Collection
BRITDUC
What started life as 1 of 100 privately owned 1998 916SPS racebikes in the US, this bike is now in the throws of a complete transformation into a bike that will make many mad and some happy.
Tamburini
A 2005 MV Agusta F4 1000 Tamburini that was owned by my boss in the 2000s. He and I kitted out this bike which he only rode 1000 miles before passing away very suddenly.
Stolen S4
A 2001 S4 that I owned long long ago. After modifying it quiet a lot, the bike disappeared one day and after 16 years has come back to me. Its quite a story but the real fun begins now tearing the bike apart and really making it one of my bikes.
851SPECIAL
This bike started life as a base 851 bi-posto and was owned by a friend. When he died suddenly the journey began on finding the bike and restoring it.
888LTD
The 888 Limited was the final road 888 and was in a run of 100. This bike is now a highly (yet tastefully) modified semi-race ready street machine.
The DocR
I don't have enough room here to go into how this was built but click the link and I will do my best.
Bikes I have touched
WoodMan's 996RS
This bike started life as a 748LE (Neiman Marcus) and has since undergone 4 rebuilds.
The SportFighter
Americans think they make the best bikes. Harleys are crap and the build quality is a joke. Here I mix old and new to make a true American Hooligan's machine! Last Update: 3/26/2011
Rocket's Turbo Dream
This animal started life as a 1994 Ducati Monster 900, and is now a highly modified PCS Daytona M900Turbo.
David's 748R
The 748R was one of the rarest and most impressive Ducs made. This unit is perfect and is Doc's favorite riding bike. 02/27/2011
Dave's Monster stomper 695
This bike was owned by my cousin (unnamed) and crashed fairly hard into a stone wall. When he asked me to sell it, DC jumped at the chance. 03/18/2011
Charlie's Super Monster S4RS-Tri
Charlie Came to me one day talking about wanting a new bike. He was always a bimmer guy but I forced the switch on him. This is on of the most evil things on the road.
Action Jackson
Shots of people and bikes. Lets face it, the bike is only half the story. 02/27/2011
